Project 4-Page 11

Grade this ^ one.

White Tara is a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism who appears as a female Buddha in Vajrayana Buddhism.

She is known as the "mother of liberation", and represents the virtues of success in work and achievements.

Tara is a tantric meditation deity whose practice is used by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and understand outer, inner and secret teachings about compassion and emptiness.

The first is in seed and represents the past Buddha Kashyapa; the second is in full bloom and symbolizes the present Buddha Shakyamuni; the third is ready to bloom and signifies the future Buddha Maitreya. These three blooms symbolize that Tara is the essence of the three Buddhas.

Standard considerations when creating a product identity:

Identify your audience and develop an understanding of their needs. Use these insights to shape your design decisions.
I’m not sure there is even a drink marketed especially to older women. This audience would be women, 40 and up, that don’t relate to products marketed towards sexy young people. This market would be successful people whether they were mindful ceo’s or professional volunteers.  Obviously this product is marketed primarily to women but wouldn’t exclude their supportive male counterparts or even the men that felt they could identify with their feminine side.
These individuals have experienced a lot, have a lot of wisdom to share. They’re proud of where they’ve come from, how they got there, and where they are headed next.
My audience is primarily the 40 and up crowd though it won't exclude younger individuals who see themselves as "mature" at a much younger age.
Analyze and evaluate the product in its competitive context.
The idea that pomegranate is thought to have health benefits such as improved blood flow to the heart, and the anti-oxidant effects of the raspberry, makes it seem like you're doing something healthy for yourself.

Project Three

I struggled with this one, a lot. I don't feel that I know how to use the tools well enough to make what I want to do, happen. :( Plus, I picked a poster that had a typeface that I loved, but I couldn't find anything remotely close to it.

Vintage travel poster inspiration.

Added photo element.

Project One, Take Two

New and improved! Now more corpulent than ever!
I chose to use Gill Sans because I felt the roundness of the letters helped to portray the roundness effect I was looking for. Also, I places each word so that they were touching, and the top and bottom just barely squeeze into the page. Corpulence has that just squeezed in tendency.
Grade this ^ one.

A new accuumulation of accumulation. I chose to use Lucida Blackletter because it looked much less tidy than the other typeface options, and when things accumulate, they tend not to be tidy.

Project One...

My schedule became corpulent with the accumulation of tasks presented to me this week therefore not much time was available for this project.

My experience using Adobe products is pretty minimal. My distant background is in graphic typesetting programs. I own an old copy of InDesign (can't remember which version) but haven't really used it.

I worked at The Corsair at PSC for two semesters in 2011, and used InDesign and Photoshop to some extent. My son owns Creative Suite and I think he will allow me to use his computer if I need to.

I have a website, (I create Wordpress websites) http://rosejansen.com.
